About Divinorum

Divinorum No.9 is an all-natural powdered tea that’s been specifically formulated to induce lucid dreams.

It is a proprietary blend of nine botanicals, each possessing a unique psychoactive property that, in combination with others, works synergistically to rapidly condition the body and mind for lucid dreaming.

Let’s clarify the term “psychoactive”…

It does not mean: illegal, intoxicating, hallucinogenic, or harmful.

Divinorum contains no illicit, illegal or controlled substances.

A substance is deemed psychoactive when it noticeably affects neurological function, specifically evidenced by changes in mood, awareness, thoughts, feelings, and/or behaviour.

Most of the world’s psychoactive plants, their effects are very, very subtle.

For example, many common foods and spices contain innocuous psychoactive substances; including chocolate, coffee, peppers, ginger, chamomile, cloves, turkey… the list is long.

Certain psychoactive effects are so subtle that they only register in the subconscious, and this is the nature of a few botanicals used in Divinorum, making it’s effectiveness possible.

In this way, Divinorum does not force a lucid dream into being, but rather creates what can be thought of as… an irresistible invitation to partake.

Each botanical in Divinorum works on a different aspect of the dream experience:

-  Enhancing dream recall, so you remember what you saw and felt.

-  Increasing dream awareness, so you recognize you’re dreaming.

-  Opening sensory perception, so dreams feel more vivid and real.

-  Calming the somatic nervous system, so the body can deeply relax.

-  Arousing the autonomic nervous system, so the mind can awaken.

The synergy of the botanicals working in unison is what rapidly creates the ideal conditions needed for lucid dreaming without disturbing your sleep.

DEVELOPMENT

Divinorum No.9 was developed over a period of twelve years, beginning in earnest, in 2012.

In that time, hundreds of herbal formularies were devised utilizing dozens of botanicals.

Through testing and refining, I slowly chiseled it down to a fine-tuned and potent brew.

It was a labor of love.

HOW IT WORKS

The mechanisms of the psychoactive elements in Divinorum No.9 remain somewhat mysterious, and consequently, describing it’s precise functions relating to the nervous system is challenging.

That said, I will attempt to describe the effects from an empirical perspective… here goes.

Divinorum No. 9 is formulated to produce changes in awareness and thought specifically during hypnagogia, which is the transitional state of consciousness we pass through just before falling sleep.

Divinorum No.9 soothes the Somatic Nervous System, relaxing the body and by extension, the conscious self, while simultaneously stimulating the deeper Parasympathetic Nervous System, your link to the unconscious self.

Divinorum No.9 works to expand the hypnagogic state, allowing you to maintain a focused awareness as your body goes to sleep, thus moving you seamlessly from waking reality into dream reality without the usual prolonged break in consciousness.

In other words, Divinorum No.9 acts as a bridge, allowing your conscious self to make the transition from waking reality into dream reality without the break in consciousness that would normally suppress your I Am presence of self-awareness.

With time and practice, the transition can be made seamlessly.

Now let’s meet the botanical teachers in the Divinorum blend.

THE NOBEL NINE

I refer to each botanical ingredient of Divinorum as a teacher… together:  the Nobel Nine.

Each has a long-standing history of use in dreamwork and spiritual practice.

And they are as follows:

1     COMMON MUGWORT  |  Artemisia vulgaris

Mugwort is the reigning champion of sacred herbs.

For millennia it has been used by cultures across the globe for lucid dreaming and astral travel.

It’s Paiute name translates literally to “Dream Plant” and this liver cleansing tea has assisted more people with lucid dreaming than any other botanical known to man.

More than any other, this calming herb helps keep you in the conscious dream state longer.

This herb also assists with emotional healing while dreaming, sometimes making dream scenarios darker in order to reveal hidden insights into core wounds and helping to bring closure.

Caution:  Avoid this herb if you are pregnant; mugwort relaxes the uterus in women and should never be used or even touched by expectant mothers.

2     EGYPTIAN BLUE LOTUS  |  Nymphaea caerulea

Although known as the Blue Egyptian Lotus, the plant is actually a Water Lilly and shares no biological connection to the actual lotus flower.

Nymphaea was a common sacrament in ancient Egypt; a symbol of resurrection and higher consciousness, and offers a subtle euphoria and gentle heart-opening effect.

It softens the edges between sleep and awake, allowing you to drift more easily into visionary states.

Priests used it in their initiation ceremonies, particularly those that took place in the great pyramid.

Today, the herb is commonly used by herbalists as a mild sedative to treat insomnia.

3     AMERICAN SKULLCAP  |  Scutellaria lateriflora

Skullcap is a strong nervine, which is a plant that soothes and balances the nervous system.

A common staple in herbal medicines, it is used to restore vigor to an overwhelmed nervous system.

This herb does not induce dreams directly, but works to prepare the body by calming nervous tension and mental chatter, setting the stage for a deep rest.

During dreaming, meditation, and astral journeying, Skullcap provides a grounding function.

It secures the connection between body and soul so the conscious self may easily find its way back after a journey.

Skullcap is also known to prevent the occurrence of nightmares.

4     VALERIAN ROOT  |  Valeriana officinalis

Like Skullcap, Valerian does not induce lucid dreams directly but paves the way for them through it’s effects of promoting deep states of sleep.

Because lucid dreaming requires deep slumber, it is a commonly reported side effect of Valerian.

Valerian is an herb that not only promotes deep sleep, which is fertile ground for lucid dreams, but it greatly boosts our ability to remember them the morning after.

It is this quality related to memory that this teacher was chosen for Divinorum.

Caution: This is another herb that pregnant women are better off avoiding.

5     TIAN MEN DONG  |  Asparagus racemosus

More commonly known as “Wild Asparagus” in English, and “Shatawari” in Ayurvedic medicine, this botanical is one of the world’s top adaptogens and promotes the idea of Spiritual Alignment.

Tian Men Dong is a Chinese word that means “heavenly spirit herb” and is cherished by shamans, monks, and yogis for its heart-opening and empathy-expanding effects.

Taoist monks, who place much value on dreamwork, have nicknamed Wild Asparagus as “The Flying Herb” because it is known to cause “flying dreams” in undisciplined dreamers.

For the initiated, it effectively helps you fly through the universe at night, achieving magnificent lucid dreams.

This herb has a steadying/centering function that allows for greater emotional control while dreaming.

Essentially it helps to ensure you will not be unintentionally jarred awake by an intense experience.

6     Xhosa Dream Root  |  Silene capensis

Also known as African Dream Root, it is noted as a “teaching plant” by the Xhosa people of Africa and is considered a highly sacred plant.

Traditionally used by shamans to induce lucid dreams, Silene is known to produce prophetic dreams.

Specifically, this herb works to deepen and broaden the dream itself, making dreams longer and filled with more meaningful content.

This herb is great for those who wish to access the Akashic Record in their dreams.

When taken regularly, it helps cultivate clairvoyance in waking consciousness.

7     Sun Opener  |  Heimia salicifolia

The ancient Aztecs called this herb Sinicuichi (or Sun Opener) and it is still used today, primarily by Mexican shamans as a trance divination catalyst.

Traditionally, fresh leaves are collected, allowed to wilt, put into a container of water, and then placed in the sun to brew and ferment for at least 24 hours. It is said that during the fermentation process, the knowledge of the sun is embedded into the potion, creating the “elixir of the sun” (hence the name).

Heimia is regarded as sacred because it enables vivid recollection of past events.

In the dream-space, this herb helps bring to life any memory of experience, allowing it to be viewed in great detail and even re-lived… if desired.

Some report making even deeper ancestral connections, which is the accessing of pre-birth and past life events.

This herb allows for a deep searching of the unconscious.

8     Damiana  |  Turnera diffusa

Damiana produces a unique state of relaxation that helps you to fall asleep faster.

It is known to amplify the vividness of dreams and to make them more meaningful and memorable.

Many report that this herb creates a dream state that helps facilitate being visited by beloved friends and family members who have died.

Damiana inhibits AChE in the brain, which increases memory and cognitive function, both asleep and awake.

Interestingly, Damiana is also a mild aphrodisiac and increases the likelihood of a dream being romantic if taken.

This herb promotes the idea of Soul Connection.

9     Catuaba  |  Erythroxylum catuaba

The bark from this tree is a highly praised aphrodisiac for both men and women.

Catuaba is also rich in minerals and trace elements, is revitalizing to the nervous system, and was chosen as the final botanical ingredient because it specifically stimulates dopamine production.

A happy, joyful, and expectant mental disposition is a must for successful dreamwork.

This botanical promotes the ideas of Vitality, Strength, and Perseverance.

SAFETY

Rest assured that Divinorum is not only effective but is also exceedingly safe.

There is a near-zero risk of any adverse side effects such as lethargy, nausea, mental confusion, or hallucinations.

Due to the herbal nature of Divinorum, there is a near-zero chance that any botanical ingredient will interact negatively with a pharmaceutical or over-the-counter medication.

Even if the entire package were consumed in one sitting, the brew would still be incapable of producing intoxication, hallucinations, or any other unpleasant overdosing effects.

THE RIGHT FOR PARTIAL DISCLOSURE

I am a big believer in the idea of Informed Consent, and as such, I want you to know exactly what goes into making Divinorum so you can research the ingredients yourself.

However…

The one aspect of Divinorum that I retain private propriety over is proportioning because that is where the magic resides, and it took me nearly twelve years of trial and error to get it just right.

A little more or less of any particular botanical and the brew simply isn’t as powerful.

Thus, to protect the sanctity of my dreamy brew, I keep the ratios of ingredient to myself.

That being said, I’ve tried dozens of lucid dreaming products over the years, particularly in the early days, some with little success and many with none at all.

As such, I can say with confidence there is not a lucid dreaming product on the market that achieves the broad range of effectiveness that Divinorum No.9 does.

Try it and you will quickly agree.
